Ikarus game mounts. Crossbreeding pets in Icarus Online

In the future, Icarus Online expects even more grandiose patches containing a lot of interesting and exciting content.

At the time of the start of OBT, the game client is practically empty, this makes it possible to fill it with missing elements over time.

Today we would like to tell you about such an interesting feature as crossing mounts in Icarus Online. This feature is currently only available on the Korean original server and the Western version. What is the essence of crossing? The end result is to get a legendary pet by breeding elite ones. Remember! Crossbreeding becomes available only when elite pets reach the maximum level.

In order to open the window for crossing mounts, go to the Bestiary. There we see the “Familiar Unity” tab in the upper right corner.

After clicking on this button, another window awaits us, in which we have the opportunity to cross the desired animals.

After opening a specialized window, we can insert all the pets that we want to cross and then the possible resulting mount will be generated in the rightmost cell.

For that. To get a legendary pet, you need to cross 2,3 or 4 heroic ones. Remember that the cost for crossing will be indicated below, because the pleasure is by no means free.

These are pets (they are also pets, mounts or companions, the differences are described below) and this guide is mainly for beginners on how to tame mounts, upgrade them faster and use them profitably.

Taming Pets

So... There are 3 types of pets in this game: ordinary, heroic And epic(these are those that require certain conditions in the game to be tamed).

You will be taught how to simply tame pets at the first levels; each attempt consumes taming points, which are restored once a day or when you gain a level, but if you need it now and quickly, you can replenish it for a fee. The chance of taming depends on many indicators:

To tame epic mounts, you need special tags (aka stamps) that need to be crafted, very often a recipe and resources tags required for crafting, drop from mobs that are in the same area as the target pet.

A tamed pet can be saddled with such a pet called a mount, or you can make it into a separate combat unit, that is, a companion, but for this you will need a special scroll.

Upgrading mounts

You can upgrade your talents with recently caught mounts; you do not need to upgrade your pet for this. Leveling up a mount depends on the time it is active, that is, in order for the pet to level up, you just need to use it. Naturally, mounts and companions level up faster in battle. Ways to speed up the leveling of pets:

  • purchasing premium;
  • consumables;
  • special equipment or gear.

Each pet has a maximum upgrade level, but you will not be able to upgrade your mount above your character level.

Another equally important way to level up is to passively level up your pets on the farm. There you place your companion, and he just swings, and it doesn’t matter if you’re in the game or not.

Using mounts and combat companions

The use of pets in the Ikarus online game is very diverse. Firstly, you can use it as a means of transportation on horseback. Secondly, it can be used as a combat companion, but using it in the literal sense will not provide much benefit; it is needed to give its owner a useful buff, which is the main purpose of the satellite.

In combat mode, satellites do not live long; they are often placed near the battlefield; of course, they can be used directly in battle, but as stated above, this option is pointless.

You can also use pets for improving the characteristics of equipment and the better the pet, the better and more useful the stat will be. To do this, you need to seal the captured mount in a stone, and stick the stone into the equipment. A sealed pet can be removed from equipment using a special extract. You can also sell it to another player or throw it away.

It will also be useful to use sealed mounts to improve and develop your character’s talents; which class is best to upgrade its talents was written about in the general review of classes. There is also a guide that contains a table indicating the effects of sealed pets, thanks to which you can improve your health, strength, physical or magical attack, defense, agility, endurance, etc.

Also no less useful in using mounts is the option of sending them on adventures, where this action can be performed on a farm. When you send your pet on a mission, he may or may not bring you some trophies, depending on the pet itself.

In addition to all this, we can collect a collection of pets and receive equipment, consumables, tags and skins, which make it possible to change the appearance of the mount.

In the game Icarus tame flying mounts maybe not right away. But we shouldn't rush things. Taming flying mounts will begin after one of the quests in the location. Until this moment, all attempts will be unsuccessful, you will receive a system message that you cannot tame this mount.

Your first flying mounts

The first flying mount They will give you after passing the Brakkar Forest location and you will fly to Hakanas Castle (this is the second location in the plot) on a motley bird. The bird will be given for a while, for a few days, after which it will disappear, but by then you will have many flying and ground mounts.

Second flying mount you will need to catch it after receiving the quest for it. This is the Phoenix Chick. You need to catch it the same way as an earth mount. That is, we jump in and play “tag” from 4 cells.

You can jump both from your First Flying Mount and from a hill, if there is one nearby. We were lucky with the Phoenix chick with the hill - she is there and not alone. Let's look at the picture.

Catching the Phoenix Chick

These are two screenshots of the same position - looking from the left and from the right, so that it is easier for you to navigate where to look for this elevation when you get to the place. Because the chick flies almost close to this rock and it will be very easy to jump.

What you need to know about flying mounts

1. To tame a specific flying mount, in addition to its habitat, you need to know the altitude at which it flies.
2. Most flying mounts in the location and on.
3. To tame some elite flying mounts, such as these, you need a special Taming Mark, without which you won’t be able to catch and tame it. The mark is acquired through crafting, farming, or purchasing at an auction.
4. As soon as you land on the Parna Coast for the first time, immediately turn around and fly into the sea. Several Frost Shriekers are flying 50 meters from the shore. Tame one, since all the mounts you have will fly and run slower in the cold, and the Parna Coast is a place of eternal ice and snow.

How to get off the mount

To get off the mount you need to press the "U" key.
If you mounted a mount by calling it from the quick access panel, then by clicking on it again you will also get off it.

How to add a mount to the quick access panel

You can add mounts that you constantly use to the quick access panel (F1, F2, etc.). To do this, open your “stable” by pressing “Y” and selecting the desired mount and drag its icon to the quick access panel. The moment you move the icon to the panel, it will appear (if it was hidden). Set the icon to the desired shortcut key. Once you place all the necessary mounts (usually two flyers and one ground mount are enough), you can move them on the panel itself in the order that is convenient for you (For example: flying ones on F5 and F6, and ground ones on F7).

How to release a mount

Over time, the mounts will fill all the free cells in the “stable”. You can buy another cell for or release those you don’t really need to free bread. To do this, open the window with mounts "Y", click on the mount you want to release and click on the Release button (at the bottom of the window). He will appear for a couple of seconds, walk a couple of meters and disappear.

In the Icarus Online guide: how to raise your first companion, creating pets, bestiary

How to raise your first companion

The nature of Midlas is impressive with its wide variety of mounts and companions. In the game world you can meet the most ordinary animals and birds, and a huge number of fantastic animals, the main thing is to know where they live. In one of our articles you studied,. And today we are ready to share with you information on how to tame your first companion.

To turn your own mount into a pet, you need the mount itself and the pet scroll. Scrolls can be obtained in two ways: knocked out of monsters or received as a reward for quests. Mounts and pets equally have special skills (offensive and defensive abilities).

Around the very beginning of the game, at level 6, you will be given a task to create a pet.

We advise you not to hesitate and take the quest as soon as possible. You will need to tame a very unusual beast Kengushkan, this is a mixture of a hare and a kangaroo. As a reward for completing the task, you will receive a scroll, which you can use to make the mount a pet. And this will be your first pet that will serve you faithfully.

When you summon your pet, a special panel will open that will allow you to control your companion. For example, you can give a command to go to a certain point (not far away) or attack the enemy, provoking him to attack you.

Companions also have passive abilities and can collect loot for you. This way you can focus on completing the dungeon rather than collecting eternal loot.

Like mounts, pets have their own health and stamina scale, passive and active skills.

Creating Pets- This is one of the most important steps on the hero's path. Your companions will serve you faithfully with their abilities. They will diversify the gameplay and add more features.
