1c enterprise update configuration. We connect Internet user support

Hello, dear blog readers. Today I would like to talk about a fairly simple topic, but which many accountants using 1C avoid, leaving it to programmers. This is an update to 1s databases. Or more precisely, about how to update 1C 8 yourself in an absolutely safe way and not wait for the programmer servicing you to take the time to look.

After the reservation, everything is ready for us to independently take and update the 1C information database absolutely calmly and safely. As I already said, there are two ways to update the configuration:

  • This 1c update via configurator already familiar to us,
  • 1c update via internet.

Perhaps I’ll start with the second option, otherwise I’m afraid the frequent appearance of the word configurator will discourage the desire to learn how to update the program. So, let's now open our database in Enterprise mode, that is, as you usually do. Recently (relatively recently) a tool for updating 1c via the Internet has appeared in 1c configurations. To use this feature, in the menu item, select Tools -> Utilities -> Configuration Update. This will open the Configuration Update Assistant. Let's leave the default update method and the Always connect to the Internet and skip the assistant checkbox. In addition, you can set the setting “Check for configuration updates via the Internet” every time you start the program - this is a very convenient feature, I recommend using it.

Next, click the next button. A window will open that will help us find out if there are any recent updates at the current time. Moreover, if there are such updates, it will provide an opportunity to get acquainted with what exactly the 1C developers implemented in the new release - the New in this version button.

What kind of animals are these and where can I get them? Let me start with the fact that all the updates that 1C produces for its configurations are posted on a website specially created for this purpose. users.v8.1c.ru.

In the window for connecting to the user site, you just need to enter the user code (login) and password intended to enter the service users.v8.1c.ru.

Ok, you found out your username and password or registered, what next? Next, we enter these secret numbers and letters and the update process begins. Just keep in mind that if the program has not been updated, say, for six months or a year, then this process will take a long time, since the program needs to download a sufficient number of updates from usersv8.1c.ru, and then install them. And all this time the program will be unavailable for work. By the way, the duration of updating in this way is its disadvantage. Although installing updates once or twice a month during your lunch break will not be difficult. So we launched the update, we see the window:

Then a window will open asking you to restart 1C enterprise. There is another notable feature in this window. By clicking on Create an information security backup, a window will open asking you to select your preferred option. If you did not create a backup copy before the update, I recommend that you select Create an information security backup copy and save it in the specified directory, so you will know exactly where your copy is.

The program will finish and a very nice window will open.

You can go to lunch or watch the news in Odnoklassniki. By the way, the database backup will be created in .dt format. Another point that I may have missed, but this is in principle logical, to update 1c via the Internet, the Internet connection must be active.

At the end of lunch (update), you will see that the program has started again and requires you to confirm the legality of receiving the update, so otherwise 1c will be able to prosecute you J and click continue.

No, that's not all! You'll have to wait a little longer until the updates are finally installed. The program will do everything itself. Upon completion, a window will open in which you can view the list of updates in each of the installed releases.

How to update 1c through the configurator

Step-by-step instructions for beginners:

The second method of updating 1c through the configurator is a little more complicated, but it’s also quite easy for a mere mortal to understand. So, first we need to find out what release (version) of the configuration we (you) currently have installed. To do this, there is a menu item Help -> About the program. The line with configuration information is important to us. I am showing the example of the 1C Salary and Personnel Management configuration; for other configurations everything is similar.

Next, you need to download update files for the desired release. Where can I get them? And all from the same resource usersv8.1c.ru, which was discussed a little higher. How to work with this resource and what useful things can be found on it, read the article. Now we only need to enter your username and password to log into your personal account: https://login.1c.ru/login. Then go to the program update section https://users.v8.1c.ru/distribution/total and find your configuration. Let's assume this is 1c ZUP edition 2.5 and click on the title:

A wonderful page will open on which you will see the updates ever released for this 1c zoom. Well, in my example, I need to update Zup 8.2 from release 2.5.69.3 to the latest available 2.5.78.1.

The file will download. Save it, say, in a special folder - updates. For convenience, you can download each file into a separate folder, the name of which is the version of the update being saved. This is convenient when you need to install many updates. I will do so, this is my case. If you need to install one or two updates, you don’t have to bother.

Step-by-step instructions for beginners:

Next, go to each folder in turn and launch the updsetup available there. In order for it to start, you must have the WinRar program on your computer. Where to download and how to install this dinosaur is easy to find on the Internet. In short, the updsetup file is the archive that you are now unpacking. By running updsetup, a window will open where you need to click the Extract button. As a result, our folder will contain several files, the most necessary of which is setup:

Double-click on Setup and in the windows that open, click Next. Thus, we installed update 70.1 on our computer. These steps must be repeated for all updates. Physically installed updates are located where it was indicated in the second window during installation. In principle, it is not necessary to know this, but it is very useful for general development.

Everything we have done so far has been a preparatory stage.

Don't be scared, because we won't have to figure it out now.

Click next in the next window. We also leave only the top switch active (as shown in the figure). The path indicated under this switch in most cases will coincide with what was indicated in the configuration installation window (I paid attention to this a little higher). That is, we installed all the updates in this folder, and now 1c will use them to update the configuration.

In the next window, highlight the maximum available version for updating and click done. We look at the description of the update, if you are very interested in what new 1c has prepared for us, and click continue updating. In the next window, we look at which release the update will be from and confirm - OK. The update is complete.

During the update process, the program will ask a question that must be answered - Yes. We'll wait a little longer. Another window will open, it talks about the reorganization of information. You just need to click – Accept.

Everything was updated from 2.5.69.3 to 2.5.70.1. Next, using the same algorithm (from the menu item Configuration -> Support -> Update configuration) we update to the desired release. In my case, up to 2.5.78.1. After the update is completed, the first time you launch the program, you will be asked to confirm that you received the update legally. Just confirm.

That's all.

Updating using the Online Update Assistant

Automatic update of standard configuration via the Internet

Here we will consider the method of automatically updating via the Internet the standard configuration of “Accounting 8 for Ukraine”, edition 1.2. The article is also relevant for typical self-supporting and budgetary configurations (see list below).

Important!!! If any changes have been made to the configuration, performing the update according to these instructions may result in the loss of such individual changes.

Updating the configuration via the Internet is performed in the “1C:Enterprise 8” mode, so you must initially launch the program and then select the update assistant.

Update Assistant options for the following configurations:

1C company constantly releases new releases of its configurations: adding new features, updating reporting forms.

Therefore, the configurations of your infobases also need to be constantly updated. The 1C program itself even reminds you of this and offers to update. You can update 1C 8.3 yourself in two ways: through the configurator or via the Internet. Let's look at the step-by-step instructions for updating 1c and what needs to be done after this procedure using an example.

Updating the 1C 8 program via the Internet

To update 1C 8.3 over the Internet, go to the “Administration” menu and find the “Updating the program version” section:

First, let’s go to the “Setting up program updates via the Internet” section:

In this window, the most important thing is to enter the user code and password; without them, you will not be able to connect to the site with updates. You should have received them along with . If for some reason you don’t have them, there is a link nearby that will take you to your personal account on the support site, and all the data will be there.

Here you can disable automatic checking for updates, set up a scheduled check or every time you log into the program.

Leave the switch on “Automatic update” and click “Next”. If a newer program release than the current one is found, the corresponding information will appear.

A newer version was found for my configuration, and now I’ll try to update 1C. Pay attention to the size of the update, as it is downloaded and unpacked into the user's directory, which is located on the "C:" drive. Accordingly, there should be enough free space on it. By the way, here you can read what changes and innovations are in the update. Click “Next”.

Oddly enough, the program was unable to connect to its server the first time due to the fact that it used my old code and password, although I specified everything correctly in the settings:

I click “OK”, enter the correct data and click “Next”. I hope you don't see such a window.

The program will start receiving the update file. Depending on your internet speed, this can be a fairly lengthy process. Took me a few minutes. In the next window we have to choose whether to update immediately or after finishing work. If you decide to update immediately, make sure that no one else is in the database. The update occurs in exclusive mode.

Here you will be prompted to make a backup copy before updating. I advice NECESSARILY make a backup copy of the 1C database, I was convinced from my own experience. Moreover, I recommend selecting the last item “Create a backup copy and save to a directory.” In this case, if something goes wrong during the update, the program itself will return everything to its place.

The update went smoothly for me and took about 45 minutes.

Important note! After installing the configuration update, the program may require you to update the 1C platform. You can read how to do this in or see in our video:

Self-updating 1C 8.3 via the configurator

To update via the configurator, you first need to download the 1C update file from the official website or from the ITS disk. I described how to do this in the article ““. Only the row in the table, of course, you need to select another (1C Accounting):

One point should be noted here. Not all latest releases may be suitable for your current configuration. Therefore, if you have not updated for a long time, you may have to download several versions. In the list of releases you can see which one fits which.

In my case, the latest release of 1C is suitable, and I downloaded it. Unlike the platform update file, configuration updates are located in archives. It is also advisable to place it in a clean directory and run it. After it is unpacked, run the setup.exe file:

The update will be installed in the specified directory. Typically this is the default directory, but you can specify a different one.

Now let's go to the configurator:

Naturally, you need to log in as a user with administrative rights.

Let's make a backup copy right away!

Now you need to go to the menu “Configuration – Support – Configuration Update”. A window will appear:

If one or more 1C 8.3 configuration updates are found, a window will appear asking you to select the one you need:

If several available updates are found, the program will highlight the latest one in bold.

Click “Finish”. Two more information windows will appear, there you just need to click “Continue”.

The 1C update process will begin. After a while, a configuration comparison window may appear. If you are not an expert, then it is better not to touch anything there. Click “Run”:

After some time, the message “Configuration merging complete” will appear. Click "OK".

Now you also need to update the configuration of the infobase. To do this, go to the menu “Configuration – Update database configuration”.

If the system asks you for something else, you need to click “Yes” or “Accept”.

When finished, you can close the configurator. When you first launch the program in normal mode, you may receive a message that the platform you are using is outdated for this configuration and working in the system is not recommended.

This update is complete.

Watch also our video on updating 1C through the configurator:

Without further ado, let us define the purpose of this instruction. Learn to update 1C databases yourself! We are talking about updating the release for standard configurations of the 1C:Enterprise 8 family, as well as the 1C technology platform itself. Why do databases need to be updated periodically? In short, this is needed to correct errors in current releases, update data in accordance with the latest legislation (for example, reporting forms), and for the emergence of new program features that are inevitably added with almost every new release. We will update through 1C:Enterprise mode. In fact, this is the simplest (albeit not always reliable) way to update 1C.

We create a backup copy of the database.

What is the first step to update? And the first step we ALWAYS AND IN ANY CASE make a backup copy of our database. And there can be no “ifs” or “buts” here. Remember... always. If something goes wrong, for example, during the update there is a loss of electricity or the computer crashes and the database is damaged, or the release itself to which we are updating turns out to be “flawed” (very rare, but this still happens with 1C), you always have your hand will be a backup copy of your database. And in case of force majeure, you can roll back to a working copy. You just need to copy the folder itself to the database. The location where a specific database is stored is displayed in the 1C start window.

In this example, the folder with the database is called "buh3prof". Those. you need to go to the specified path in Windows Explorer and copy the folder with the database. It can be copied to any location on your computer or to an external drive, such as a flash drive, there is not much difference here (but it is still safer to use an external drive). After this, you can begin any actions with your base.

We connect Internet user support

Let's go to the usual "1C:Enterprise" mode, i.e. we just launch the required database. In this example, the configuration window "1C:Enterprise 8. Accounting 3.0" with the "Taxi" graphical interface will be used. All modern configurations (also with the "Taxi" interface) and some old versions, for example "1C: Enterprise 8. Accounting 2.0" are updated according to the same principle, except that the location of the buttons and menu items is not much different. We need the menu item "Administration", then "Internet user support" (or in some configurations "Internet support and services").

After entering your login and password, the username (login) from your 1C personal account will be displayed as in the picture below.

We are updating our program

Now you can install the update itself. Select "Program update".

If a new update is available, a window will open as in the picture below. If you wish, you can click "More details" to view all additional information.

It is not necessary to update the 1C:Enterprise platform. If this is necessary, the program itself will tell you during the update that you need to update the platform to use the new release and will check the required box by default. Just click “Next” and wait until the necessary files are downloaded. After this, a window will open with the option to update 1C now, or postpone the process until the program is closed. Click "Next" again.

After this, the update process itself will begin. You don't need to do anything else. The program will do all the necessary actions itself. You can safely go make yourself some coffee :) By the way, sometimes instead of the above window, the following may appear and the “Next” button will not be active.

There is no need to be afraid. This only means that other users have not left the database; it is necessary to terminate their work with the program. Or if you are the only one working in 1C from one computer, then the session or some routine task could very well freeze. Click “View list of active users” and wait a little, periodically updating the list of sessions. When only your session remains (there will be only one line with your user name in the list), you can close this window and click “Next” (the button will become active). If, however, this does not happen within a few minutes and some session is annoyingly hanging in the list of users, then simply restart the program. And we repeat the update steps. Since the sessions were “reset to zero” this time everything should be fine. In very rare and hopeless cases, you can restart the computer itself to reset them.

So, back to the update process. After some time, a window will appear indicating the success of our actions. Click Finish and we can continue working in 1C.

If you need to update next time (when a new release is released), you can do this through the Internet user support window. It will be displayed when the program starts, since you entered your login and password at the very beginning. Simply select "More details about upgrading", then click "Automatic". The process you are already familiar with will begin.

In older editions of the program (where there is no Taxi interface), such as "1C: Accounting, Rev. 2.0", all actions are performed by analogy, usually through the Service menu. Look for the items “Update configuration” or “Online user support”. Everything else is done on an intuitive level.

A few words afterward about updating the 1C:Enterprise technology platform. In general, a platform is a kind of shell (software environment) in which a specific 1C configuration (your base) operates. The principle is as follows: you can have several configurations (several 1C databases), but there is one platform for everything. And if you need to update several databases, then you need to update each database separately, for example, using the method described above. The platform is updated once. And as I noted earlier, it is not necessary to update it as new versions are released. Let’s say your platform is 8.3.9.1850, then a new one comes out 8.3.9.2132, then 8.3.9.2170, etc. You can safely use your 8.3.9.1850 until, during the next update to a new configuration release, the program writes to you “This version of the configuration is designed to work with a platform no lower than 8.3.10.2252.” That's when it needs to be updated. As a rule, it is enough to update the 1C platform about once every six months.

That's all. In my next article you will find out.
